Rocketdyne declares itself ready for the MX missile's Stage IV — the post-boost propulsion system that would maneuver the ICBM's warheads onto their final trajectories. The MX (later named Peacekeeper) became one of the defining strategic weapons debates of the late Cold War, and this ad captures the industrial machinery gearing up behind it.
